Semen analysis is one of the core aspects in infertility investigations for measurement of male fertility in clinical andrology. The pivotal parameters to define the quality of ejaculated human spermatozoa include count, motility and morphological characteristics. As a clinical practice, semen analysis is commonly assessed manually under a microscope. However, manual assessments are extremely strenuous, time consuming, lack objectivity and preciseness, with seldom reproducible results.
